Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
- Adapt therapeutic activities to meet the individual needs of each patient
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing
- Prior clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
