    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist
    • Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices
    • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record
    • Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and accurately record treatment minutes per all regulatory and clinical requirements
    • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to cognitive and/or physical disorders
    • Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings, and assist with DME or supply procurement as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 1 year of OTA experience (required)
    • Long Term Care or Rehabilitation experience (required)
    • Active COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license (required)
    • Active Missouri State Licensure/Registration (required)
    • Adherence to NBCOT/AOTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience utilizing evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
    • Experience supervising and supporting OTA students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
