Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA certification through NBCOT
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in New Jersey
- Experience providing occupational therapy assistant services in a clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
