Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Treat patients recovering from CVA, amputations, orthopedic injuries, and other neurological conditions
- Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Ekso NR and REAL VR systems during therapy sessions
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 6 patients per therapist, delivering individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment using the UDS ProDoc electronic health record system
- Comply with facility influenza vaccination policy or obtain an approved medical/religious exemption and adhere to masking requirements during flu season (November 1 – March 31)
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) certification required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience
- Experience working with adult patient populations
- Ability to comply with facility health and safety policies, including influenza vaccination or approved exemption with masking requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in orthopedic and/or neurological rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with advanced rehab technology such as robotic-assisted therapy devices or virtual reality systems
- Prior experience treating CVA, amputee, and orthopedic diagnoses
