Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation and recovery
- Support patient well-being through therapeutic activities and interventions in a long term care setting
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of COTA experience required
- Active Texas OTA license or compact license equivalent required
- Current COTA certification in good standing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
