Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy support to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on patient rehabilitation and recovery
- Support patient well-being through therapeutic activities and interventions
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of COTA experience
- Active Texas state license or compact license equivalent required
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Long Term Care setting
- Familiarity with geriatric patient populations and related rehabilitation needs
