Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient and family education throughout the care process
- Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising occupational therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols as required by state, federal, and facility guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience providing occupational therapy services in a rehab setting
- Familiarity with documentation systems and electronic health records
