Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support the development, recovery, and improvement of daily living and work skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to meet a minimum of 36 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
