Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's established plan of care
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Assist with education for patients and their families regarding therapy goals and functional independence
• Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or demonstrated ability to obtain licensure
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Ability to provide occupational therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
