Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services in an acute care / medical-surgical inpatient setting
- Assist with occasional inpatient rehabilitation cases as needed
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Participate in weekend coverage rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Oklahoma (or eligibility)
- Experience in an acute care or inpatient hospital setting
- Ability to work a day shift schedule including select weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation in addition to acute care
- Familiarity with med-surg patient populations and associated treatment approaches
