Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and plan of care updates
- Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment for patients
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA licensure in the state of Michigan
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to fulfill a 35-hour weekly guarantee
- Ability to commit to a 14-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
