Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and independence in daily living activities
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support comprehensive patient care goals
- Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing
- Active Oregon state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
