Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA certification through NBCOT
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Michigan
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
