Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active COTA licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
NBCOT certification required or eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior clinical experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
