Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support the development, recovery, and improvement of daily living and work skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy team and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active New Jersey state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in NJ
- Previous experience in an occupational therapy assistant role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a variety of clinical or rehabilitative settings
- Strong documentation and communication skills
