Key Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs as directed by the supervising OT
Required Qualifications
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
Ability to work day shift hours
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior clinical experience as a COTA in a relevant care setting
Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
