Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional independence and quality of life
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
- Educate residents and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active New Hampshire state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
