Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising OT
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and progress
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Maryland
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract assignment
- Availability to work day shift hours with a 30-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitative setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
