The position requires a commitment to working five days a week from 08:00 to 16:30. The facility experiences a high volume of general medical and surgical cases. The average length of stay for patients is approximately two weeks. The caseload will include neurological, orthopedic, and cardiovascular diagnoses. COTA will work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation. Preferred skills include experience with specific patient populations, functional assessments, and patient/family education. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with discharge planning and providing safety and injury prevention guidance. COTA must be knowledgeable about best practices in rehabilitation and dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Travelers may need to work holidays as required by the facility.
