Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist patients with activities designed to improve daily living and functional skills.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
