Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients in improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, and independence
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to support patient function
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
  • Accurately document treatments and patient progress in accordance with SNF guidelines
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support positive patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Active COTA certification and state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • SNF experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new environments
