Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans aimed at improving patients ability to perform daily living activities and functional tasks.
This role requires strong hands-on clinical support skills, attention to patient progress, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans
Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional training
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
Communicate patient updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Assist with therapeutic exercises and adaptive equipment use
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
Follow clinical guidelines and facility protocols
Requirements
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the relevant state
Completion of an accredited COTA program
