SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment techniques and adaptive equipment
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Train patients on adaptive techniques and use of assistive devices
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist
  • Support therapeutic activities that improve functional independence, mobility, and safety
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
  • Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and optimal quality of life

  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
