Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients in improving functional abilities, and support rehabilitation goals that promote independence and quality of life.

SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment techniques and adaptive equipment
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Train patients on adaptive techniques and use of assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Support therapeutic activities that improve functional independence, mobility, and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and optimal quality of life
