Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy assistant services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and therapy goals
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident rehabilitation and functional outcomes
Maintain COTA licensure and adhere to applicable state and professional practice standards
Required Qualifications
Current COTA certification through NBCOT
Active South Dakota state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract assignment
Day shift availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Familiarity with PACS documentation software
Experience with geriatric patient populations
