We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Salinas, CA. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active OTA/COTA state license in California is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred. Mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of SNF experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete documentation in electronic medical record systems (Net Health experience preferred).
  • Strong documentation, time-management, and communication skills required to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible schedule and collaborative mindset required. Preference for clinicians able to work a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift pattern: Flex schedule — Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday; typically 5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts.
  • Candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and follow facility policies and Medicare/regulatory guidelines.
  • Documentation: Complete resident documentation in Net Health per facility standards.
