GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate:$42.00 - $49.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification/license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and rehabilitation practices
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve coordination, strength, balance, and mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximizing independence
- Adhere to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies
