Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. SHIFT DETAILS

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment, and rehabilitation techniques
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and cognitive function
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximum independence

- Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
