Description

American Traveler is hiring a Certified Hand Therapist Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring Level I trauma experience and NBCOT hand therapy certification.

Details

  • Outpatient occupational therapy setting
  • Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • Current UT OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • BLS certification required
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Certified Hand Therapist credential required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Level I trauma experience required
  • Skills in pediatric care, activities of daily living, orthotics, and modalities/manual therapies required
  • Experience with biofeedback, cardiac rehabilitation, edema massage, electrical stimulation, feeding techniques, TENS, and ultrasound preferred

Additional Information

  • Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
  • Previous full-time employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
  • Orientation includes completion of standard modules on the first day
