Unit Info: The unit provides care for unstable pre-heart transplants, heart failure patients requiring close monitoring or vasopressor support, acute myocardial infarctions, unstable post-interventional cardiology procedures, post-arrest targeted temperature management, and other patients requiring invasive hemodynamics. Nursing assignments are made on a shift-to-shift basis, taking patient acuity and staff skill level into consideration to ensure each patient receives superior care.
