Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract
Facility: HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge
Location: Thornton, CO
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Contract: 6 weeks
Schedule: 4×9-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Call: 2 nights of call + every 3rd weekend
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of recent acute-care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
- BLS required
- ARRT (R) OR RCIS/RCES required
- Candidates with RCIS/RCES must be willing to apply for/register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado through DORA before starting
- Must be able to take on-call responsibilities
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab while on call
Preferred Experience
- ARRT (CI) or CV
- Cath Lab holding experience
- Patient monitoring experience

- GE Innova Fluoroscopy Systems
- Mac-Lab
- Meditech EMR
Procedures
- Left & Right Heart Catheterization (LHC/RHC)
- PCI
- Peripheral diagnostic & interventional procedures
- Pacemaker & ICD procedures
- Cardioversions
- TEE
- Tilt Table Tests
- Dobutamine Stress Tests
Unit Details
- 3 Cath Lab suites
- 2 Cath Lab procedure rooms
- 3 holding bays
- Approximately 9 staff members
- Typical procedural-area ratio: 3 staff : 1 patient
- High-functioning team with engaged physicians
Call & Weekend Requirements
- 2 nights of call
- Every 3rd weekend
- Call is distributed evenly among the team
- Must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
