Job Summary
A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Puyallup, WA. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures within a Level III Trauma Center, with responsibilities including scrub and operate table simultaneously, monitor patients, and assist in various cardiac and electrophysiology cases. The position offers a dynamic environment and the opportunity to work with experienced healthcare professionals.

Job Details

• Position Type: RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)
• Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM, Days
• Schedule: Rotating day off each week; weekday on-call once per week (Monday or Thursday) until 07:00 AM, and every 6th weekend with on-call from Friday until Monday at 07:00 AM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, ARRT or RCIS license, BLS, ACLS certifications, WA Licensure, experience with cases including LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral interventions, loop recorders, Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes; scrub and operate table simultaneously; monitoring experience preferred
• Additional Information: Support on the Unit includes scheduler, charge nurse/lead tech, respiratory therapy, hospitalist, intensivists, cardiologist on call, RRT, and code team. The environment involves handling approximately 8 cases daily using equipment such as GE Alea C-arm, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Picom PACS, and Merge hemodynamics. Floating to another Cath Lab may be required up to once per week, with prior notice. Orientation begins with NEO at the facility, followed by departmental training, with options for buddy call during the first week.
