Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in a healthcare facility specializing in cardiovascular procedures. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including monitoring and operating specific equipment. The assignment provides an opportunity to work within a team dedicated to patient care and advanced cardiac interventions over a contract duration of approximately three months.

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license with an active MD or Compact License, and certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RTR (Registered Radiologic Technologist). No minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac catheterization, diagnostic catheterizations for both adult and pediatric/neonatal patients, and proficiency with cardiac procedures such as ASD closures, PCI, TAVR, and impella placements.
  • Additional Information: This position may require on-call coverage one day per week and one weekend per month. Candidates should be comfortable operating specialized equipment such as Impella consoles, IABP consoles, and working with various coronary wires and balloons. The facility handles a high daily census with four procedural rooms and a patient demographic primarily composed of adults and geriatrics.
