Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary:
Provides health care services using cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures. Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License.
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• No preferred qualifications specified.

Additional Information:
 

• No experience required.
• Practices radiation safety and utilizes ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles.
• Demonstrates competency in procedures such as thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart interventions.
• Manages complications including air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade.
• Maintains confidentiality of hospital and patient information at all times.
