Cath Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to provide exceptional support in our cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic imaging and assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate diagnostic imaging equipment effectively throughout procedures.
Perform the role of scrub technician to assist medical professionals during catheterization and vascular surgeries.
Conduct hemodynamic monitoring to ensure patient safety and procedure effectiveness.
Document all procedures accurately during the case for record-keeping and compliance.
Share on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab, ensuring availability for urgent needs.

Qualifications

Current MIRT license.
Additional certification as an RT or RCIS is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab environment.
Proficiency with Epic systems highly preferred.
Current ACLS and CPR-AHA certifications.
Must have been separated from previous employment for at least 6 months to qualify.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with approximately 10-11 on-call shifts per month, including rotating weekends.
