Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in a high-volume interventional cardiac center. The role involves supporting a variety of complex procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratories, including structural heart interventions, PFO/ASD closures, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman device placements. The position demands recent experience in interventional scrubbing, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. This assignment is scheduled to start on October 5, 2026, with a 13-week contract working on days, with potential on-call duties as required.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and/or ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiology) credentials. Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. Two years of recent experience in cardiac interventional scrubbing, including procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, and structural interventions are necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with high-volume cardiac interventional procedures, sterile technique proficiency, and familiarity with GE Innova IGS and Phillips imaging equipment. Experience with hybrid operating rooms and performing advanced procedures like TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires on-call availability up to 13 weekdays, covering weekends and holidays as scheduled. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope of practice, with no restrictions.
