Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

This position involves working in the cardiovascular catheterization lab, focusing on both interventional and diagnostic procedures. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in performing left heart catheterizations, right heart catheterizations (with and without biopsy), and participating in a variety of structural heart cases including TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repairs, and Watchman procedures. Additionally, experience with vascular procedures such as peripheral run-offs, EVARS, TEVARS, and adult coronary cases is required.

Schedule

• Work Schedule: 4 days per week
• Shift Hours: 0700 - 1700
• Weekend Work: Required
• On-Call Duty: On a rotational basis with other technicians
• Holiday Work: As needed based on unit requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, specifically in interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• License/Certification: Must possess one of the following - ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Nicotine free status required.

Orientation and Credentialing

• Orientation: 2-day orientation will take place during the first week of employment.
• Credentialing: Credentials are due one week prior to the start date. Required items include CBC, DS, and relevant lab work to be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.

Other Information

This role is a bi-weekly pay position. The client allows for the cancellation of up to two shifts per month without penalty. A minimum of 2 hours’ notice will be provided for cancellations.
