DAY-SHIFT CARDIAC CATH LAB TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – ASCENSION COLUMBIA ST. MARY’S

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Lake Michigan Shoreline). Operating within the interventional cardiovascular suites at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee, this position features a desirable 4x10 daytime schedule (06:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, varying 4 days per week). Weekly Gross: $3,128.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,568.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $39.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $58.50/hr

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (06:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, days vary weekly).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
On-Call Structure:
- 1–2 weekday nights per week.
- 1 weekend on-call per month.
- Rotational holiday call coverage as needed by the department.
Procedural Scope & Competencies: Scrubbing, panning, and hemodynamic waveform recording across adult diagnostic coronary angiographies, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI/stents), emergent STEMI activations, and sterile field maintenance.
Equipment & Systems: Advanced digital fluoroscopy, physiological monitoring systems, radiation protection protocols, and Epic EMR.
Floating Scope: Float on-site within clinical skill set, or to regional Ascension facilities within 40 miles if operationally needed.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist experience. Prior travel experience is required.
Certifications Required:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT Radiography credential.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Licensure: Active Wisconsin State Radiographer License (if submitting under ARRT).
EMR Requirement: Epic charting experience is required.

Location Details: Assignment is located at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee, 2301 N Lake Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53211 (Dept: Cardiology-Cath Lab 001 - 10580). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 11, 2026, through January 09, 2027. Call Rotation Agreement: Candidate must agree to department call: 1–2 weekday nights per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotational holiday call. Floating Flexibility: Willingness to float on-site or to sister Ascension campuses within a 40-mile radius as clinically needed. Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active RCIS and/or ARRT, WI Radiographer License (if ARRT), BLS, and ACLS must be attached at submittal. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be presented upfront with the submittal packet.
