Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have experience in catheterization procedures and a strong understanding of cardiovascular technologies.
Job Details

- Shift Notes: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with additional on-call requirements
Qualifications
- Required Certifications:
- BLS Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Verification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI or ARRT (Certification must be registered with NDMIRT)
- Experience or 'Must Have' Skills:
- Ability to scrub in and panning experience is acceptable; primary focus will be on panning
- Familiarity with IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4-port manifold is preferred
- Experience with IV starts is preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing in for procedures and assisting with cardiovascular interventions
- Starting IVs and monitoring patients during procedures
Additional Information
- Department: Cath Lab
- Equipment & EMR: EPIC & Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm
- Call Requirements: 1-2 weeknight shifts per week, every third weekend on call, and alternating holidays
- Orientation: One week of department-specific orientation, including classroom and lab training
- Response Time: 20 minutes for on-call duties
- Floating Requirements: Assistance in Heart and Vascular Pre/Post areas as needed
- Dress Code: Provided scrubs; personal lock required for lockers
