DAY-SHIFT CARDIAC CATH LAB TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – ASCENSION FRANKLIN HOSPITAL

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Franklin, Wisconsin (Milwaukee Metro Area). Operating within the interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology (EP) procedural suite at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital – Franklin Campus, this position features a desirable 4-day weekday schedule (08:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM). PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $2,828.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,568.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $35.00/hr (36 regular hours)
  • Overtime Rate: $52.50/hr

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4 days per week (08:00 AM - 17:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Structure: Departmental call based on operational needs:
    • 2–3 weekday shifts per week.
    • Every 2nd or 3rd weekend on-call coverage.
    • Rotating holiday on-call coverage shared with core staff.
  • Procedural Scope & Core Skills: Advanced scrub experience across diagnostic and interventional coronary cases and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. Must have proven hands-on capability to pan the table and expertly monitor hemodynamic waveforms throughout cases.
  • Equipment & EMR: Digital fluoroscopy/angiography equipment, sterile field setup, radiation safety protocols, and Epic EMR.
  • Floating Scope: Float on-site within clinical skill set, or to regional sister sites within 40 miles if operationally required.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Dedicated clinical Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist experience with verified scrub and EP competency. Prior travel experience is required.
  • Certifications Required:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential required.
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • EMR Requirement: Epic charting experience is required.
  • Rehire Separation Policy: Former Ascension employees/contractors require a minimum 6-month employment separation to be considered for travel assignments.

Location Details: Assignment is located at Ascension Franklin Hospital, 10101 S 27th St, Franklin, WI 53132 (Dept: Cardiology-Cath Lab 001 - 10580). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 11, 2026, through January 09, 2027. Call Commitment Agreement: Candidate must agree upfront to departmental call: 2–3 days during the week, every 2nd or 3rd weekend, and rotating holiday call. Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active RCIS, BLS, and ACLS certifications must be in hand and uploaded with initial submittal packet. Highlight cardiac/EP scrubbing, panning, and hemodynamic monitoring competencies in profile submission notes. Maximum 5 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed at submission. Driver's license must match permanent address for travel stipend qualification. Local candidates within 50 miles are processed under local guidelines.
