Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma acute care setting requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma acute care Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 main labs, 1 EP lab, and 1 hybrid lab performing both vascular and cardiac cases
• Caseload of 10-25 cases per day
• Uses Cerner and Xper EMR systems
• Utilizes Philips and Siemens equipment
• 12-hour day shifts plus call
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call requirement of 8-12 days per month with a 30-minute response time
• Holiday coverage worked into rotation
• 2-day facility-specific orientation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• ARRT certification required with ability to scrub
• BLS certification required
• AZ license (MRTBE CRT) required if applicable
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Experience with interventional, EP lab, peripheral, cardiology, and vascular procedures including MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala placement
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Perform interventional cardiac, EP, and peripheral vascular procedures including MitraClip, TAVR, IABP placement, and Emtala placement
• Team includes a Charge Nurse and Rad Tech Nurse Aides who circulate and scrub, covering Endo and CVOR
• Scrubs provided
