Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in a bustling cardiac catheterization laboratory located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiograms and percutaneous coronary interventions, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The technologist will work with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiac care.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: RCIS (Cardiac and Vascular Invasive Specialist), RT (Radiologic Technologist), CVT (Cardiovascular Technician), or RN (Registered Nurse) that scrubs. Candidates without these certifications will not be considered for the role. No minimum years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Rota, TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip procedures is considered a plus.
  • Unit Information:
    • Number of Labs: 2
    • Number of Staff: 15
    • Type of Staff: Day Shift 6-8
    • Patient Ratios: Varies, 5-15 cases per day
    • Equipment: GE imaging systems
    • EMR: EPIC/Merge electronic medical records system
    • Typical Procedures: Diagnostic angiograms, PCIs, stemis, structural procedures
  • Additional Information:
    • Dress Code: Navy scrubs (provided)
    • Floating Area(s): None
    • Weekends and On-call: Approximately 10 call days per month, including at least 1 weekend.
