The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is based in Austell, Georgia. This role involves supporting cardiovascular procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and quality of care. Job Details:

  • Location: Austell, Georgia
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS), ACLS-Instructor or ACLS-Provisional (within 180 days), Basic Life Support (BLS) or ARC-BLS, and BLS-Instructor. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a medical setting is required along with a high school diploma or higher.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures, knowledge of electrocardiography, coronary heart disease, cardiac anatomy, and physiology with EKG interpretation, along with expertise in hemodynamics, intracardiac electrograms, and electrophysiology equipment is preferred.
  • Additional Information: The role may involve responding quickly to emergency patient care situations, maintaining effective working relationships, and working under on-call requirements every four weeks, including Fridays through Sundays. Cardiac catheterization laboratory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
