Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position is located in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves providing specialized cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures within a dedicated electrophysiology (EP) lab environment. The position requires working day shifts to support various device implants and ablation procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to unit policies.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) with registration in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (RCIS) or relevant certification; valid ACLS and BLS certifications; ability to perform device implants and cardiac ablations including SVT and Afib; experience with Watchman LAAO procedures; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; located within a commutable distance to Gainesville, FL.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced cardiac procedures, familiarity with GE Innova X-ray system, Merge imaging, and GE MacLab Hemodynamic System, and previous use of Meditech documentation system.
