Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician

Schedule

This position requires 10-hour shifts, four days a week, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional on-call responsibilities are required.

Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician is responsible for scrubbing and monitoring various cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures. This role includes managing access sites and symptoms, performing sheath removal, and taking emergency after-hours call shifts. Additionally, the technician will schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures and assist with the admission, recovery, and discharge of patients.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor various interventional procedures.
• Manage access sites and handle symptom management.
• Perform sheath removal and take emergency call shifts.
• Schedule procedures for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Assist in admitting, recovering, and discharging patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have prior Cath Lab experience.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, and Interventional Neurology.
• Current certifications in CCL and relevant Licenses required.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians.
