Shift Details:- 8hrs 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM
- 40 hours/ week
Cardiac Cath Tech Duties & Responsibilities:- Assists physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepares and maintains the cardiac catheterization room, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepares patients for procedures and verifies medical history, orders, and required documentation.
- Operates and monitors specialized cardiac catheterization and imaging equipment.
- Assists with sterile procedures, catheter insertion, and preparation of necessary instruments.
- Monitors patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythm during procedures and reports changes promptly.
- Administers or assists with medications and contrast agents as directed by the physician.
- Maintains accurate procedure records and ensures proper documentation.
- Follows radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
- Cleans, disinfects, and restocks equipment and procedure areas after each case.
Minimum Qualifications:- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Cath lab setting
- ARRT or RCIS required
- Active BLS Certificate
- Additional certifications may be required
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
