Must-Have:
Required experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab.
Skills in Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult).
Experience with IABP Placement/Removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and left heart catheterization.
Skills in Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), right heart catheterization, and Rotablader atherectomy.
Competence in equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and sterile technique.
Experience with adults and geriatrics.
Cerner experience required.
Description:
Seeking a Cath Lab Technician with a minimum of one year of experience.
Candidates will work 4x12 hour shifts.
Weekend shifts are required, working 2-3 weekends per contract.
Call will be required as needed, rotating with staff and agency.
Frequency of call will be discussed with management.
No floating within scope will be expected to meet facility needs.
Block scheduling is open for accommodation.
No radius restrictions for local candidates.
Candidates should have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Specific procedural responsibilities include utilizing various cardiac devices and performing essential catheterizations.
Technicians must maintain sterile fields and comply with infection control protocols.
Candidates should be prepared to interact with a busy department, managing a daily workflow with an average caseload.
Special focus on understanding procedures related to cardiac care and emergency situations.
All required certifications must be valid and current.
Candidates will complete compliance requirements in a timely manner.
