Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience and California CRRT licensure for a cardiac intervention radiology role with structural heart procedures.

Details

  • Interventional cardiac cath lab with structural heart program
  • 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15
  • Monday-Friday day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
  • Call requirement of 3 call shifts within a 2-week period
  • Weekend call required every 6 weeks
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required
  • California CRRT state license required and must be in hand (license required if applicable)
  • BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • CCI RCIS certification preferred
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Experience with venous access, central line care, and vascular closure systems
  • Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Experience with TAVR and Watchman procedures preferred
  • Carotid stenting and thrombolysis/thrombectomy experience preferred
  • Experience with temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion preferred
  • Skilled in fluoroscopy, PACS, sterile technique, and infection control practices

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, structural heart, and interventional radiology procedures
  • Responsibilities include equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, room circulation, and monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias
  • Scrubs provided
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
  • Radius rule of 50 miles applies
  • RTO limited to no more than 7 days
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Former Providence permanent staff may return as travelers after 3 months if located more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the health system
  • Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
