Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 5+ years of experience in coronary angiograms, PCI, pacemakers, and peripheral aortograms.
Details
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
- Day shift, 4x10 hours from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Call requirement of 8-12 call shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
- Uses fluoroscopy equipment and PACS system
Requirements
- ARRT with CA license or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures
- Experience with coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemakers, and peripheral aortograms required
- Skilled in EKG lead placement, vascular access site prep, and sterile field maintenance
- Experience with angioplasty, stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and temporary pacemaker management
- Prior travel experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, inventory and supply stocking, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Additional exposure to TAVR, Watchman, OCT, PA line insertion, and rotablator atherectomy procedures preferred
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday approved per contract
- Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
