Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT and ACLS certifications required.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab department at a 110-bed community hospital
• Serve as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures, with duties including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
• Vascular IR experience preferred, assisting Interventional Radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other holiday and every other weekend required
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Travelers are first to float within the clinical scope per facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT registration required
• Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Vascular IR experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology required
• Epic charting experience required
• Knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique required

Additional Information

• Assist Interventional Cardiologists and Radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing
• Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of the assignment
• More than one call-off may result in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the most central facility to be eligible for travel rate
• Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with the facility before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
