ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred. Certifications: Must-Have: BLS, ARRT Description: Cath Lab Tech needed for a 4x10 days shift. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-timers are accepted. Weekend and holiday call may be required. On-call is required with a 30-minute callback. Approximately 8-10 call shifts per month are expected, along with a weekend call rotation. Candidates should have experience with EPIC charting system. Additional certifications preferred include ACLS. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital. It has a total of 683 staffed beds and is a teaching facility. Daily caseload includes adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should be skilled in various catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional techniques. The tech will be responsible for accurate monitoring, scrubbing, and maintaining a sterile field. Supporting roles will include equipment setup, patient transport, and inventory management. Knowledge in advanced interventions such as IABP placement and coronary stenting is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with various procedures including but not limited to cardioversion and TEE. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected. The role may require travel for certifications and compliance training. Candidates should possess a willingness to participate in rotation for holidays and weekends. Failure to comply with on-call expectations may result in cancellation of the assignment. Candidates must be adaptable to meet facility needs.
